  Don't go there. The vet 'in charge' failed to check my dog for ticks and blamed her lameness on a cruciate surgery he knew nothing about. He advised that it was a bad tick season (a wet year), they were short of antidote, and sent us back to the cottage at the coast 60km away. He was advised we had a long walk in a bushy, tick area. He was told the dog was worth thousands of dollars as a working dog, he was asked to keep her to be sure, and he refused. The dog crashed in the night and was dead the next morning. They were able to find a tick once she was dead! Worse than the death, he takes no responsibility for missing what he said was the most likely cause.
